Bill providing recourse over bail-in passes first reading

A government-sponsored bill designed to provide legal recourse for holders of subordinated bank liabilities who were wiped out in the 2013 bank bailout was endorsed on first reading at the National Assembly on Tuesday although MPs expect improvements in later stages of the legislative procedure.

A study commissioned by the National Education Institute appears to show that Slovenian school children are exposed to stress, progressively so as they get older, but to a much lesser degree than widely assumed.

Early voting begins ahead of 26 May elections
