Former shoemaking rivals joined under Alpina

Celje/Žiri, 20 February - The sports footwear maker Alpina has acquired the once celebrated shoe brand Peko from the bankrupt Tržič-based company. Alpina paid EUR 100,000 for the brand, once its biggest rival, at an auction in Celje on Tuesday.
