Shoe maker Peko faces bankruptcy

Ljubljana, 14 January - The state appears to have given up on troubled shoe maker Peko, which has been on the brink of bankruptcy for years. After its owners and creditors failed to support its restructuring plan, the state has decided against yet another capital injection into the producer of the legendary footwear brand.
