Ivan Trajkovič, a martial artist who has competed for Slovenia twice at Olympic Games, has won Slovenia's currently most famous TV quiz show, TV Slovenija's Joker. The first person to win in two years, the 33-year-old took home a cheque for EUR 20,000.

Slovenian ski-jumper Nika Prevc won a World Cup event in Switzerland's Engelberg on Saturday, after winning the opening event of the women's Ski Jumping World Cup season in Norway a month ago. Coming second and third were German Katharina Schmid and Norwegian Thea Minyan Bjoerseth.

Slovenia's winter sports athlete Anamarija Lampič finished third in the women's Biathlon World Cup sprint event in Le Grand-Bornand, France on Friday in what is her first podium finish after she switched to this sport from cross-country skiing in 2022.

Ema Klinec stepped in for Nika Prevc, the winner of the women's Ski Jumping World Cup in the last season, as the Slovenian podium finisher at Sunday's World Cup event in Zhangjiakou, China. Klinec finished second behind German's Katharina Schmid, while Prevc, third at the same venue on Saturday, was fifth this time.
