Arbitration in focus of Erjavec's visit to Sweden

Foreign Minister Karl Erjavec presented the context of the upcoming decision of the arbitration tribunal deciding on the border between Slovenia and Croatia as he met his Swedish counterpart Margot Wallström in Stockholm on Tuesday.

Pahor and Spanish king launch NSK show in Madrid

President Borut Pahor and Spanish King Felipe VI opened in Madrid on Tuesday an exhibition on the acclaimed Slovenian art collective NSK. The internationally successful From Kapital to Capital show, originally mounted at Ljubljana's Moderna Galerija in 2015, will be on display at the Reina Sofia Museum until 8 January.

Slovenia to check passengers entering the country, Croatia those exiting

Border checks between Slovenia and Croatia are expected to be conducted quicker as of Tuesday, as Croatia starts using the Schengen information system. This will allow for targeted checks to be conducted alternately by the two countries. Each country will check the passengers entering their country.

Scenic cantata Carmina Burana to open 65th Ljubljana Festival

Spanish theatrical group La Fura dels Baus, known for their urban theatre, use of unusual settings and blurring of the boundaries between audience and actor, will open the 65th Ljubljana Festival with its take on Carmina Burana. The festival will bring several big names to Ljubljana this summer.
