The biggest opposition party is not happy with the ruling of the arbitration tribunal on the border with Croatia. SDS leader Janez Janša said Slovenia had lost a quarter of the Bay of Piran, while it would have only limited rights in the corridor leading to the high seas.

Prime Minister Miro Cerar announced on Friday that Slovenia would send a diplomatic note to invite Croatia to start implementing the arbitration ruling next week. In a statement for the media, he acknowledged that the implementation cannot start immediately.
