Weekly Review of Events Involving Slovenia from 26 Nov. to 2 Dec.

Ljubljana, 3 December - Amidst frantic preparations for the OSCE ministerial in Ljubljana on 5 and 6 December, trade unions staged massive protests against the government-sponsored reforms. Meanwhile, the parliament ordered an inquiry the possible responsibility of public office holders in deals done by the state-run KAD and SOD, and the government moved to synchronise the country's foreign policy with a decree calling for better coordination of the foreign policy protagonists.
