Annual Review of Slovenian Sports

Ljubljana, 4 December - From the Slovenian perspective, 2005, a year without Olympic games and major leading sports championships, proved most successful in individual sports. Even the Mediterranean Games brought no medals in team sports. On the other hand, the front-runners from previous seasons excelled once again. Iztok Cop and Luka Spik, Rok Benkovic, Katarina Srebotnik, Maja Vidmar, Aljaz Pegan, Mitja Petkovsek, Tina Maze, Peter Mankoc, Urska Zolnir, Rasa Sraka and Matej Zagar will remember 2005 as one of the most successful in their careers.
