Schedule of Events for Monday, 5 December

LONDON, UK - Parliament Speaker France Cukjati is to kick off a two-day official visit to Great Britain. On the first day, he is to meet representatives of Slovenian association in Great Britain and pay a visit to the Slovenian Catholic mission.

WASHINGTON, US - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec is to begin a five-day visit to the US. He will be taking part in a meeting of the Southeastern European Defence Ministerial (SEDM) on the first day.

LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary finance and monetary policy committee is to debate the revised budget bills for 2006 and 2007 and accompanying documents at its session that will get underway at 10 AM. (STA)

BRUSSELS, Belgium - EU transport ministers, including Slovenia's Janez Bozic, are to meet for a regular session that will discuss regulations on aviation safety and the Galileo global satellite navigation system.

PODGORICA, Serbia-Montenegro - Education Minister Milan Zver is to wrap up a two-day visit to Montenegro.

LJUBLJANA - Portuguese State Secretary for European Affairs Fernando Reves is scheduled to pay a visit to Slovenia. The 2007-2013 EU spending plan is to top the agenda of his talks with Slovenian counterpart Marcel Koprol.
