Slovenia Calls for Decision on Eurozone Entry at June 2006 Summit

Brussels, 6 December - Slovenia would like the EU to decide on its euro adoption at the June summit in 2006. It would thus be able to manufacture euro coins before the set date of entry on 1 January 2007, Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk said on the margins of the Tuesday session of EU finance ministers.
