Ljubljana, 11 December - The parliament passed the changes to the income tax act once again after they were vetoed by the upper chamber of parliament last month. It moreover started the debate on the budget bills for 2006 and 2007. PM Janez Jansa nominated economist Joze P. Damijan minister without portfolio in charge of structural reforms, pending the parliament's approval. The government appointed Andrej Sircelj the new state secretary at the prime minister's office in charge of taxes.
