Ljubljana, 16 December - Below is a schedule of events for Saturday, 17 December:
KOCEVSKA REKA - The 15th anniversary of the special military unit MORIS, which was established to support Slovenia's ambitions for independence, is to be marked at a ceremony that begins at 5 PM. Alojz Peterle, the prime minister of the first democratically-elected government in Slovenia, is to deliver the keynote address.
LJUBLJANA - The council and the executive committee of the junior coalition People's Party (SLS) are to meet to discuss the government package of structural reforms and other topical issues. Party officials are expected to speak to the press at 5 PM.
LJUBLJANA - Awards are to be given out at a ceremony scheduled for 6 PM to mark the 60th anniversary of the Society of Slovenian Composers.
