LJUBLJANA - Four largest associations of trade unions are to give a news conference at noon to outline their expectations of the talks on a new social agreement, due to begin on Monday.

AMMAN, Jordan - Interior Minister Dragutin Mate and police chief Joze Romsek continue their official visit to Jordan, where they are to meet Slovenian police instructors who are training the Iraqi police forces there on Saturday.

LJUBLJANA - The college of deputy group heads and the speaker of the parliament is to discuss the agenda of an extraordinary parliamentary session to be held on 10 January; begins at noon.
