Haider "Stunt" Succeeds, 85.1% Reject Signs Proposal
Vienna, 13 January - In a poll initiated by Governor Joerg Haider the inhabitants of the southern municipalities in the Austrian province of Carinthia have overwhelmingly (85.1%) rejected a proposal to settle the issue of bilingual town signs in Carinthia, the Austrian press agency (APA) reports.
