Slovenia Drawn to Group D for 2006 Basketball World Championships
Tokyo, 15 January - Slovenia's basketball team was drawn on Sunday into preliminary round Group D, in which they will play together with the US, Puerto Rico, Italy, China and Senegal for the 2006 FIBA World Championship in Japan. Group D will play its preliminary round games between 19 and 24 August in Sapporo.
