Flat Tax Would Exert Severe Pressure on Food Industry
Ljubljana, 18 January - An analysis by two leading economists has found that the food industry would come under severe pressure if the flat tax rate, a cornerstone of the government's proposed reform package, were to be introduced. The introduction of a 20% flat tax would reduce producer prices by between 4% and 10%, the analysis concludes.
