LJUBLJANA - FM Dimitrij Rupel is to host his San Marino counterpart Fabio Berardi for a one-day visit. The pair are to address the press following their meeting, expectedly at 12:45 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Prime Minister Janez Jansa and Transport Minister Janez Bozic are to address a ministerial conference on the motorways of the sea. The event, which is to begin at 9 AM, will also be addressed by European Transport Commissioner Jacques Barrot. (STA)

NOVO MESTO - Prime Minister Janez Jansa and several ministers are to visit pharmaceutical company Krka at 5 PM ahead of Wednesday's visit of the cabinet team to the Dolenjsko and Bela Krajina regions in SE Slovenia.

LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary commission for oversight of intelligence and security services is to hold a session behind closed doors to examine security threats in the wake of the government's decision to send military instructors to Iraq. The session, which will get underway at 2 PM, has been called by opposition Social Democrats' (SD) lawmaker Dusan Kumer.

LJUBLJANA - A rally is to be held at 6 PM in front of the Defence Ministry to protest the sending of Slovenian military instructors to Iraq.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - A meeting of EU finance ministers. Slovenia's Andrej Bajuk is expected to take part as well.

LJUBLJANA - The Programming Council of public broadcaster RTV Slovenija is to meet for its maiden session at 10 AM.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - A Slovenian delegation is to be taking part in a two-day meeting of representatives of the European Parliament and national parliaments in the EU on energy efficiency.

LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Tourist Board (STO) is to hold a press conference to present results of the 2005 tourism season and plans for this year.

LJUBLJANA - Shares of Ljubljana-based conglomerate Autocommerce are to be listed on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.

LJUBLJANA - Serb writer Milorad Pavic, who is attending the 3rd international festival of short story "Fabula", is to speak to the press at 11 AM.

LJUBLJANA - A two-day conference of the international professional footballers' association (FIFPro) on social dialogue in football is to conclude.
