Commission Urges Slovenia to Embark on Pension Reform
Brussels, 1 February - The European Commission has assessed Slovenia's convergence programme as based on a plausible macroeconomic scenario, however it also made two recommendations: the country has to take concrete measures to reduce public expenditure, and to improve the long-term sustainability of public finances, particularly in relation to pensions.
