Govt Sets EU Agenda and Priorities for 2006
Ljubljana, 2 February - The government has adopted a draft declaration on Slovenia's EU policy guidelines for 2006 and an action plan of EU-related activities. The document sets priorities for activities in the EU Council, including preparations for EU chairmanship and the introduction of the euro, the implementation of Schengen border standards and the overhauled Lisbon Strategy, as well as preparations for the next financial perspectives and efficient use of EU funds.
