LJUBLJANA - Slovenian Culture Day will be celebrated throughout the country. Numerous Slovenian cultural institutions are to offer free-of-charge admittance to mark the bank holiday.

LJUBLJANA - Culture Minister Vasko Simoniti is to receive at noon this year's Preseren laureates, the winners of the highest state awards for achievements in arts and culture.

HELSINKI, Finland - A delegation of the parliamentary commission for Slovenians abroad led by Janez Kramberger is to wrap up a three-day official visit to Finland to hold meetings with Finnish officials and meet representatives of the Slovenian community in Finland.

KLAGENFURT, Austria - Two Slovenian minority organisations in Austria, the ZSO and SKS, are to hold a press conference at 10:30 AM to speak about bilingual town signs.
