H5 Bird Flu Virus Found in Slovenia

Brussels/Ljubljana, 12 February - Slovenian authorities notified the European Commission on Sunday that they have discovered H5 bird flu virus in a swan and have already sent tissue samples to an EU laboratory for additional tests. A representative of the National Veterinary Institute Olga Zorman Rojs told STA that more information will be available during the day.
