VURS Confirms H5 Bird Flu Virus in Swan

Ljubljana, 12 February - The Veterinary Administration (VURS) received a report late on Saturday that the cloacal swab of a mute swan, which was found dead early on Thursday near Maribor, was infected with the H5 strain of the bird flu virus, the government PR and media office said on Sunday.
