Ljubljana, 13 February - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 14 February:

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk is scheduled to be taking part in a meeting of EU finance ministers that will review the European Commission's assessment of the Slovenian convergence programme, among other things. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - President Janez Drnovsek and representatives of humanitarian organisations are to speak about the launch of the World for Darfur humanitarian campaign in the western Sudanese region at a press conference scheduled for 3 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is scheduled to hold separate meetings with Director General of the Israeli Foreign Ministry Ron Prosor (10 AM) and acting coordinator of the Slovenian Muslim community Imam Ibrahim Malanovic (3 PM). Rupel is to address the press after the meetings. (STA)

STRASBOURG, France - Representatives of Slovenian trade unions are to join a protest organised by the European Trade Union Confederation against the controversial EU services directive.

BRDO PRI KRANJU - The Strategic Council for Culture, Education and Science is to meet at 4 PM to examine the effects of flat tax on culture, particularly on the publishing sector. The meeting is to be attended by Development Minister Joze P. Damijan and Culture Minister Vasko Simoniti.

VIENNA, Austria - Armed Forces Chief of Staff, Major General Ladislav Lipic, is to be taking part in a seminar on military doctrine staged by the OSCE.

LJUBLJANA - The Chamber of Commerce (GZS) is to stage a Slovenian-Israeli business forum on high technology, starting at 11 AM.

CELJE - The bank Banka Celje is to present operating results for 2005 and plans for this year at 11 AM.

LJUBLJANA - President of the Constitutional Court Janez Cebulj is to present the report on the Constitutional Court's activities in 2005 at 11 AM.

LJUBLJANA - An exhibition to mark the 250th anniversary of the birth of pioneer Slovenian dramatist Anton Tomaz Linhart is to open at noon at the National University Library.
