Evolution of Bird Flu Measures in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 16 February - The confirmation on Thursday that a swan found in the northwestern city of Maribor had the lethal H5N1 strain of the bird flu virus will test the capabilities of the veterinary and health authorities, which have been on alert since the outbreak of the disease in Asia last year.
