Weybridge Lab Confirms H5N1 in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 17 February - The EU reference lab in Weybridge, the UK, has confirmed the presence of the highly virulent H5N1 bird flu virus in a dead swan found in Slovenia, after the dangerous strain of the virus had already been confirmed by a lab in Italy's Padua.
