Ljubljana, 21 February - If the EU joins the US and Israel in cutting financial assistance to the Palestininan government under Hamas, a move which according to Washington and Jerusalem would make the Islamic movement lose credibility in the eyes of the voters and enable Fatah to regain power in early elections, the EU would effectively be abandoning its strategy for resolving the Middle Eastern conflict, Delo notes on Tuesday.
