Ljubljana, 26 February - Below is a schedule of events for Monday, 27 February:
LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to begin its regular February session, discussing the establishment of twelve new municipalities and the bill on Slovenians abroad among other issues. The session, which will begin at 2 PM with a Q&A session for PM Janez Jansa and his ministers, is scheduled to end on 5 March. (STA)
BRUSSLES, Belgium - A session of EU foreign ministers, including Slovenia's Dimitrij Rupel. The extradition of fugitive Serbian general Ratko Mladic to the Hague tribunal and the row over cartoons of the prophet Muhammad are expected to top the agenda.
LJUBLJANA - The general manager of the Health Insurance Institute (ZZZS) Borut Miklavcic will present ZSSS results for 2005 and the changes to the use of the health insurance card after 1 March, when changes to the supplementary health insurance enter into force. A news conference is scheduled for 2 PM.
LJUBLJANA - Representatives of the employers, workers and the government are to discuss the 2006-2009 social agreement behind closed doors. The negotiators are expected to open the chapter on taxation. The head of the government negotiating team Dusan Krajnik is scheduled to give a statement to the press at 3:15 PM.
LJUBLJANA - Education Minister Milan Zver is to hold a meeting with the representatives of the Trade Union of Education (SVIZ). Zver is scheduled to give a statement to the press at 2 PM.
KOPER - Logistics company Intereuropa will hold a press conference at 1:30 PM, presenting its unaudited business results for 2005, the plan for 2006 and the strategy for the 2006-2011 period.
