Ljubljana District Court Successfully Tackling Growing Caseload

Ljubljana, 28 February - The Ljubljana District Court received a record 39,444 new cases in 2005 and managed to close 40,279 cases. Despite a 4.2% increase in the caseload over 2004, and an unstable staff structure, the backlog decreased by 5%, the court's vice-president Marjan Pogacnik told the press on Tuesday.
