Veterinary Authorities Suspect new Bird Flu Outbreak Site

Ljubljana, 1 March - The National Veterinary Institute suspects that a dead duck found in the village of Markovci nearby the town of Ptuj (NE) is infected with the bird flu, prompting the National Centre for Disease Control to set up a new quarantine and surveillance zones around the village.
