Barroso Urges Member States' Parliaments to Take Initiative

Ljubljana, 2 March - European Commission President Jose Manual Barroso has urged the national parliaments of the EU member states to take the initiative in implementing the EU's commitments. The EU is not a foreign policy project, it is the domestic policy of all 25 member states, he said in his address to the National Assembly on Thursday.
