Weekly Review of Slovenian Business & Economy from 25 Feb to 3 Mar

Ljubljana, 5 March - As Slovenia is approaching the euro adoption on 1 January 2007, an act on double pricing of goods and services entered into force on 1 March. This week was moreover marked with a series of 2005 business results released by several major Slovenian companies. Meanwhile, new cases of bird flu in wild birds were confirmed in Slovenia, bringing the total number of animals infected with H5N1 substrain of the virus to seven.
