Projections Show Single VAT Rate Would Boost Inflation

Ljubljana, 20 March - If a single VAT rate is introduced in line with the government's reform proposal, consumer prices would see a one-off increase of up to 1.8%, provided that the payroll tax is abolished and the income tax rates are tweaked, according to government projections.
