Project to Protect Amphibians on Lake Cerknica Completed

Cerknica, 4 April - Notranjsko Regional Park, which spreads on a surface area of 222 sq. km and includes the intermittent lake Cerknica, is home to some 15 to 19 species of amphibians, STA was told by the leader of a conservation project which took place in the park between September 2004 and October 2005, Jana Kus Veenvliet.
