LJUBLJANA - All parliamentary parties bar the opposition Liberal Democrats (LDS) are to sign at noon a Development Partnership pact put forward by Prime Minister Janez Jansa to secure a broad political consensus on structural reforms. (STA/PHOTO)

LJUBLJANA - The Programming Council of public radio and TV broadcaster RTV Slovenija is expected to give its opinion on the nominees for the directors of Radio Slovenija and TV Slovenija, Vinko Vasle and Joze Mozina, put forward by RTV Slovenija director general Anton Guzej. ST. POELTEN, Austria - A two-day conference on subsidiarity in 2006 organised as part of the Austrian EU presidency will be attended by Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel and Speaker of the National Assembly France Cukjati.

IDRIJA/CERKNO - The start of the government's tour of the region of Severno Primorsko, with PM Janez Jansa and several other ministers visiting the towns of Idrija and Cerkno. (STA)

LJUBLJANA/LENDAVA - A delegation of the parliament of Austria's province of Carinthia headed by its Speaker Joerg Freunschlag is to pay a return visit to the Slovenian National Assembly and is also expected to visit the Hungarian ethnic community in Lendava (NE). (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The employers and trade unions are to launch talks on a collective bargaining agreement on wage policy which is to set down a holiday allowance and wage rises for 2006 and 2007, as well as govern the issues related to labour costs, and the system of adjusting wages to inflation.

LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary committee for environment and spatial planning is to discuss at a session at 2 PM the government's reaction to the planned construction of liquefied gas terminals in the Gulf of Trieste.

LJUBLJANA - The National Council and the Club of Slovenian Entrepreneurs are to stage a panel on renewable energy sources at 10 AM. The president of the National Council Janez Susnik and Environment Minister Janez Podobnik are also to attend.

LJUBLJANA - The Foundation for the Financing of Organisations for the Disabled and Humanitarian Organisations (FIHO) is to hold a press conference at 12:30 PM to present new members of its council, supervisory board, and reports on the foundation's work.

SKOPJE, Macedonia - An exhibition of Slovenian prints from the last 50 years, organised by the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SAZU) and the National Gallery in Ljubljana, is to open at 7 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The 11th annual Slovenian Book Days, organised by the Slovenian Writers' Association, will be launched by Culture Minister Vasko Simoniti at 11 AM. (STA)

CELJE - An initiative for the city of Celje to bid (NE) for the title of "the European Capital of Culture 2012" is to be present at 10 AM by members of the coalition party NSi. (STA)

BELGRADE, Serbia-Montenegro - A draw is to decide the qualifying groups for the 2006 European Water Polo Championships, with Slovenia one of the twelve countries competing at the event. At 8 PM.
