CLEVELAND/ENON VALLEY, US - Prime Minister Janez Jansa will continue his visit to the United States. He is scheduled to meet in the morning Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson, city councillors of Slovenian descent Joe Cimperman and Mike Polensek, and receive representatives of the Slovenian community there. Jansa is also expected to hold a speech at the 25th "Slovenefest" in Enon Valley, Pennsylvania, in the evening. (STA)

NOVA GORICA - The opposition Social Democrats (SD) are to convene a congress at 10 AM to adopt the new programme, dubbed "Slovenia at the Top of the World", which places development on the top of the party's agenda. (STA)

HELSINKI, Finland - The final day of an informal meeting of EU ministers for health and social affairs. Labour, Family and Social Affairs Minister Janez Drobnic and Health Minister Andrej Brucan are representing Slovenia.

LJUBLJANA - Slovenians in the World, an association of Slovenian emigrants, is to organise the 13th jamboree. A 9 AM mass given by Ljubljana Archbishop and Metropolitan Alojz Uran is to be followed at 10 AM by a panel on demographic changes in Slovenia.
