Ljubljana, 10 July - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 11 July:

WASHINGTON, US - Prime Minister Janez Jansa is due to wrap up his multi-day visit to the US. He is scheduled to meet US Vice President Dick Cheney, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, US Senator of Slovenian descent Tom Harkin and the President of the House of Representatives Dennis Hastert. Jansa is expected to give a press statement after his meetings. (STA)

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Slovenia is expected to get the final green light for joining the eurozone as EU finance ministers meet. The decision will complete the formalities required to make Slovenia the 13th member of the eurozone. A press conference is scheduled for after the session, expectedly at 2 PM, which is to be ensued by a special ceremony to mark Slovenia's upcoming membership of the monetary union. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - A delegation of the Christian Social Union (CSU), a member of the ruling coalition in Germany, is to visit Slovenia. The delegation will be led by the head of the CSU deputy group Peter Ramsauer and will also include the federal Economy and Technology Minister Michael Glos and Agriculture Minister Horst Seehofer. The delegation is to meet President Janez Drnovsek (noon), Parliament Speaker France Cukjati (10:30 AM), Education and Sports Minister Milan Zver and European Affairs State Secretary Janez Lenarcic. Moreover, Glos is to meet Slovenian counterpart Andrej Vizjak, while Seehofer is scheduled to meet Slovenian counterpart Marija Lukacic. Zver and Ramsauer are expected to speak to the press at 2:50 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to resume its session for July at 9 AM. The agenda for the day includes the second reading of the religious freedoms bill and a re-vote on the amendments to the higher education act, which were vetoed by the upper chamber. (STA)

HELSINKI, Finland - State Secretary at the Economics Ministry Andrijana Starina Kosem is to be taking part in the final day of a two-day meeting of the EU Competition Council.

LJUBLJANA - Local Government and Regional Policy Minister Ivan Zagar is to outline projects to aid the effective phasing of EU funds at a press conference scheduled for 11 AM. (STA)

RABAT, Morocco - Interior Minister Dragutin Mate is to attend the final day of two-day Euro-African conference on immigration. The conference, organised by Morocco and France, is to see the participation of 60 countries from the EU and Africa and several regional and international organisations.

LJUBLJANA - Leader of the coalition People's Party (SLS) Janez Podobnik is to give a press statement regarding the party's resolution on the border between Slovenia and Croatia at 6:30 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - President of the Supreme Court Franc Testen is to present the annual report on the court's activities in 2005 at a press conference scheduled for noon.
