Ljubljana, 11 July - Below is a schedule of events for Wednesday, 12 July:

PODGORICA, Montenegro - President Janez Drnovsek is to visit Montenegro to celebrate National Day at the invitation of Montenegrin counterpart Filip Vujanovic. Apart from Vujanovic (3:40 PM), Drnovsek is also scheduled to meet PM Djukanovic (4:30 PM). Drnovsek and Vujanovic are to speak to the press at 4:10 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Chief of the Slovenian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Albin Gutman, is to meet visiting Czech counterpart, General Pavel Stefka. Stefka is also to be received by Defence Minister Karl Erjavec and the chair of the parliamentary defence committee Anton Anderlic. Gutman and Stefka are expected to speak to the press at 11:45 AM. LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to resume its session for July at 9 AM. The agenda for the day includes amendments to the act on the Lipica stud farm in emergency procedure, second readings of the takeover bill and the amendments to the act on aliens and, in shortened procedure, the amendments to the aviation act and the act on the promotion of foreign direct investments. LJUBLJANA - Ombudsman Matjaz Hanzek is to present the 2005 annual human rights report to Speaker of Parliament France Cukjati at 3:30 PM. Hanzek and his coworkers are to speak about the report at a press conference scheduled for 4:30 PM. (STA/PHOTO)

LJUBLJANA - Representatives of the Slovenian and Israeli governments are to sign a bilateral agreement on cooperation in technological and industrial research and development in the private sector at 2 PM. Press statements are to follow the signing. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The social partners are to continue talks on the proposed changes to the labour act. The closed-doors meeting is to get underway at 10 AM, after which Labour, Family and Social Affairs Minister Janez Drobnic is to give a statement to press (expectedly at 2 PM).

LJUBLJANA - Representatives of Slovenia's largest bank, NLB, are to speak about the bank's preparations for the introduction of the euro at a press conference scheduled for 11 AM.
