Ljubljana, 12 July - Below is a schedule of events for Thursday, 13 July:
LJUBLJANA - Amendments to the act on the support environment for entrepreneurship, amendments to the energy act and amendments to the citizenship act will be on the agenda of the government's regular session. A press conference is scheduled for 2 PM. (STA/PHOTO)
LJUBLJANA - Prime Minister Janez Jansa will take questions from the floor as parliament continues its July session at 9 AM.
LJUBLJANA - State Secretary at the Economics Ministry Andrijana Starina Kosem and the head of the ministry's directorate for tourism Marjan Hribar are to unveil a development plan for Slovenian tourism for the 2007-2001 period, which the government is expected to adopt at its regular session; at 3 PM. LJUBLJANA - The National Surveying and Mapping Authority is to present the forthcoming census of real estate, one of the steps required before the introduction of a property tax; at 11 AM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The Association of Free Trade Unions of Slovenia (ZZZS) is to talk to the press at 9 AM about the stall in negotiations on a new social agreement.
YALTA, Ukraine - Janez Lenarcic, state secretary for European affairs, is to take part in the third annual conference "Yalta European Strategy - YES", which runs until Sunday.
LJUBLJANA - The executive committee of the coalition New Slovenia is to discuss at 7 PM the proposal of fellow coalition People's Party (SLS) for a resolution on the border with Croatia. The head of the NSi deputy group Alojz Sok is to make a press statement on Friday.
LJUBLJANA - The Ljubljana City Council is to resume its regular session at 3:30 PM. One of the items on the agenda is the sale of land which has been designated for the construction of the first mosque in Slovenia.
NOVA GORICA - Nova Gorica Mayor Mirko Brulc and his counterpart from Italy's Gorizia Vittorio Brancati are to present celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the Transalpina railway and the construction of the Solkan bridge; at noon.
ORASJE, Bosnia-Herzegovina/DOMZALE, Slovenia - Two Slovenian clubs will be playing in the first leg of the the opening round of qualifying for the UEFA Cup. Domzale will take on Orasje from Bosnia-Herzegovina at an away game at 7 PM, while Koper will play Litex of Bulgaria at 8 PM. (STA)
