Cabinet Adopt Amendment to Citizenship Act

Ljubljana, 13 July - The Slovenian government on Thursday adopted amendments to the citizenship act. One of the major novelties is the transfer of competences that concern the awarding or termination of the citizenship status to individual administrative units, with the Interior Ministry taking on the role of a supervisory body.
