EU Makes Slovenia Entitled to Bird Flu Aid
Brussels, 13 July - The European Commission has added Slovenia to a list of countries entitled to EU aid in the wake of the bird flu crisis. Slovenia will be refunded up to 50% of the costs for measures aimed at alleviating damages to the poultry sector caused by the crisis, with the rest being funded by the Slovenian government, the Commission said on Thursday.
