Ljubljana, 16 July - Schedule of events in the week from 17 to 23 July:

MONDAY, 17 July
        BRUSSELS, Belgium - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to attend a meeting of his EU counterparts.
        LJUBLJANA - German Transport, Construction and Urban Planning Minister Wolfgang Tiefensee is pay a visit to Slovenia upon invitation by his host Slovenian Transport Minister Janez Bozic.
        LJUBLJANA - Serbian Prince Alexander Karadjordjevic II is to pay a visit to Slovenia.
        LJUBLJANA - The National Examination Centre and the Ministry of Education and Sport are to speak to the press on the results of the 2006 matura, a nationwide secondary school leaving exam which is a prerequisite for university studies.
        LJUBLJANA - A joint press conference by several trade unions will present their position on the changes to the act on health care and health insurance.
        LJUBLJANA - The closing ceremony of the 47th International Mathematical Olympiad will include European Science and Research Commissioner Janez Potocnik as the keynote speaker.
        LJUBLJANA - The European Commission's Representation Office in Slovenia is to present the results of the spring Eurobarometer poll for Slovenia.
        LJUBLJANA - Local Government and Regional Policy Minister Ivan Zagar is to meet Franco Iacopo, his co-chair at the commission for common development projects between Slovenia and the Italian region of Friuli Venezia-Giulia.

TUESDAY, 18 July
        LJUBLJANA - Serbian foreign minister Vuk Draskovic is to hold talks with his Slovenian host and counterpart Dimitrij Rupel.
        BRUSSELS, Belgium - EU agriculture ministers, including Slovenia's Marija Lukacic are to discuss a wine reform proposal for the EU.
        POREC, Croatia - Slovenian and Croatian interior ministers Dragutin Mate and Ivica Kirin are to hold an official meeting prior to the start of the tourist season.
        BRNIK - Chief exec of airport operator Aerodrom Ljubljana Vinko Moze and the CEO of construction company SCT Ivan Zidar are to hold a press conference upon signing a contract on the construction of a new passenger terminal at the Ljubljana international airport.
        LJUBLJANA - The Programming Council of public broadcaster RTV Slovenija will discuss the report on the implementation of the programming plan for the first six months of 2006 and the draft programming plan for 2007.
        IZAKOVCI - The Panvita Group, a conglomerate of 11 food companies, will open the first bio gas plant in the NE region of Pomurje. Minister of the Economy Andrej Vizjak is to be in attendance.

WEDNESDAY, 19 July
        LJUBLJANA - The newly appointed Kazakhstani and South Korean ambassadors Dulat Kuanishev and Kim Sung-Hwan are to hand over copies of credentials to FM Dimitrij Rupel.
        LJUBLJANA - The Economic and Social Council is to discuss the bill on minimum wages in 2006 and 2007 and the bill on amending the act on ensuring social security for Slovenians entitled to pensions from other republics of the former Yugoslavia, among other things.
        LJUBLJANA - An open session of the Cankarjev dom congress centre council.

THURSDAY, 20 July
        LJUBLJANA - Regular weekly cabinet session is to take place.
        LJUBLJANA - Kosovo Prime Minister Agim Ceku is to pay a visit to Slovenia and is expected to hold talks with Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel.
        LJUBLJANA - The management of power producer Holding Slovenske elektrarne is to present to the press the key business results and achieved development goals in the first half of 2006.

FRIDAY, 21 July
        LJUBLJANA - A meeting by the extended Slovenian group for preparations for chairing the EU will be chaired by European Affairs State Secretary Janez Lenarcic.

SATURDAY, 22 July
