Railways Slash Losses in First Half of 2006

In the six months the holding generated a net loss of SIT 531m (EUR 2.22m), which is well below last year's loss of SIT 4.9bn (EUR 20.45m), although SIT 4bn (EUR 16.7bn) of that was caused by a delay in state payments for rail infrastructure maintenance.
