LJUBLJANA - Slovenia's largest insurer, Zavarovalnica Triglav, is to hold an AGM to discuss the division of its 2005 profit of EUR 64.27m.
TUESDAY, 22 August
LJUBLJANA - The 9th Slovenian Film Festival, which will take place between 14 and 17 September, is to be outlined at a news conference.
SAPPORO, Japan - Slovenia are to play the US in the third game in group D of the World Basketball Championships.
WEDNESDAY, 23 August
SAPPORO, Japan - Slovenia are to continue their World Basketball Championship campaign with a game against Puerto Rico.
THURSDAY, 24 August
LJUBLJANA - The government is to hold its first regular weekly session after the summer recess.
SAPPORO, Japan - Slovenia are to play China in the final game of group D at the World Basketball Championships.
DOMZALE - Football club Domzale is to play Israel's Hapoel Tel Aviv in the return match of the second round of qualifying for the UEFA Cup.
MARIBOR - Maribor face Partizan Belgrade in the second round of qualifying for the UEFA Cup (second leg).

GORNJA RADGONA - The 44th International Agriculture and Food Fair, one of the biggest events of its kind in the region, is to open. The event is close on 1 September.
PIRAN - The 5th Tartini Festival of classical music is to kick off with a concert by French pianist Frederic Lagarde.
SUNDAY, 27 August
BLED - The two-day "Caspian Outlook 2008" energy conference is to begin with FM Dimitrij Rupel expected to deliver the welcome speech and PM Janez Jansa the opening address.
