Sales Soar at Istrabenz, Net Profit Tumbles

Koper, 25 August - Istrabenz, the food, energy and tourism conglomerate, increased sales by 40% year-on-year to SIT 89.6bn (EUR 373.9m) in the first six months of the year. While operating profit soared by 74% to SIT 3.5bn (EUR 14.6m), net profit was down 39% to SIT 896m (EUR 3.74m), but it was still higher than projected, the company said on Friday.
