Delo Profits Down in First Half of 2006

Ljubljana, 29 August - The net profits of Slovenia's leading newspaper publisher, Delo, have dropped 23% to SIT 301m (EUR 1.26m) in the first half of the year. The drop comes despite a 3% rise in net sales revenues in the period, which stood at SIT 6.84bn (EUR 28.5m), the company said on Tuesday.
