Ljubljana, 26 October - Below is a schedule of events for Friday, 27 October:

LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to continue its regular session at 9 AM. The MPs are also expected to vote on four tax laws (the value added tax (VAT) bill, the property tax bill, the bill on inheritance tax and the bill on the taxation of vessels) that constitute the government-sponsored tax reform. BRDO PRI KRANJU - The Slovenian and Austrian interior ministries are to launch the 6th ministerial conference on illegal migration, organised crime, corruption and terrorism. The event is to be opened at 9:30 AM by Interior Ministers Dragutin Mate (Slovenia) and Liese Prokop (Austria). The two ministers are also to hold a joint press conference at 1:45 PM. (STA)

TRIESTE/BASOVIZZA, Italy - A Slovenian delegation headed by Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to lay wreaths on soldiers' tomb at the Trieste military cemetery and the grave of Basovizza victims, at 3PM and 4 PM, respectively.

LJUBLJANA - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec and Slovenian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Albin Gutman are to lay wreaths in memory of WWII and 1991 Indipendence War victims at the Ljubljana cemetery. At 9 AM.

MURSKA SOBOTA - The Evangelical Church and the Slovenian Protestant Association Primoz Trubar will hold a ceremony marking Reformation Day, 31 October.

NOVA GORICA - The European Parliament Slovenia Information Office-sponsored Forum on the Future of Europe is to get under way at 6 PM, featuring MEPs Borut Pahor and Alojz Peterle, as well as the mayors of Nova Gorica and Gorizia, Mirko Brulc and Vittorio Brancati.

LJUBLJANA - The Economic and Social Council, an industrial relations forum, is to discuss at 11 AM the active employment policy measures for the 2007-2013 period and the national action programme for the disabled 2007-2023.

MARIBOR - Transport Minister Janez Bozic is to hold a press conference at 10 AM, presenting the supplemental motorway programme, as part of the resolution on national development projects 2007-2023.

LJUBLJANA - The Association for Trade at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS) is to host a meeting at 2:30 PM to discuss preparations for the formation of an independent Chamber of Commerce and the euro change-over.

IDRIJA - The 130th anniversary of the Idrija bobbin lacemaking school is to be marked by a ceremony at 6 PM.

PORTOROZ - The 8th Slovenian congress on roads and infrastructure is to come to a close.
