Ljubljana, 31 October - Below is a schedule of events for Wednesday, 1 November:

LJUBLJANA - Memorial and mass services are to be held throughout Slovenia in remembrance of the dead on All Saints' Day, a bank holiday in the country.

LJUBLJANA - The STA is to publish a feature ahead of the anticipated verdict by the European Court of Human Rights in the case brought by three Croatian depositors of defunct Slovenian bank LB against Slovenia. (STA)

LJUBLJANA/SLOVENSKA BISTRICA - A state delegation comprising President Janez Drnovsek, Prime Minister Janez Jansa and Parliament Speaker France Cukjati is to lay wreaths at the main Ljubljana cemetery at Zale (11 AM). PM Jansa is also expected to lay a wreath at the memorial to victims of post-WWII summary killings in Slovenska Bistrica.

GORIZIA/GONARS, Italy - Parliament Deputy Speaker Marko Pavliha (Liberal Democracy - LDS) and a delegation are to attend a ceremony commemorating the killed freedom fighters in Gorizia (1 PM) and the victims of the Fascist concentration camp Gonars (9:30 AM).

DUBLIN, Ireland - Labour Minister Janez Drobnic is to begin a three-day visit to the Irish capital as part of which he will be taking part in the Foundation Forum 2006 on living standards and working conditions.

LJUBLJANA - Olimpija are to take on Lottomatica of Rome in the second week of action in Europe's strongest club basketball competition, the Euroleague. The Group B fixture gets underway at 8:45 PM.
