Ljubljana, 5 November - There was a lull in activity in business and economy due to bank holidays this week. Nevertheless, parliament was kept busy. Among other things, it passed the act on inheritance and presents to wrap up the package of seven tax laws that the government had put forward in a bid to simplify the tax code and cut taxes. The official statistics put the annual inflation rate down 1 percentage point to 1.5%.
