Ljubljana, 4 November - The past week was marked by a temporary relocation of a Roma family from the central Slovenian village of Ambrus to a refugee centre in Postojna. Alojz Peterle, a member of the European Parliament (EPP/NSi), meanwhile confirmed his candidacy for the 2007 presidential election. Slovenia also celebrated two bank holidays, Reformation Day, which remembered the Protestants, who gave the country the first book in Slovenian, and All Saints' Day when the dead were remembered throughout the country.
