LJUBLJANA - The government commission for the protection of the Roma is to look into the bill on the Roma community at a session scheduled for 10 AM. Press statements are expected at 11:30 AM. (STA/PHOTO)
LJUBLJANA - The executive director of the European GNSS Supervisory Authority Pedro Pedreira is to visit Slovenia upon the invitation of Higher Education Minister Jure Zupan and Transport Minister Janez Bozic. LJUBLJANA - Prime Minister Janez Jansa is to meet at noon the core working group tasked with the preparations for Slovenia's stint as EU president. The 18-month presidency programme which has been drafted in conjunction with Germany and Portugal is to top the agenda.
LJUBLJANA - Human Rights Ombudsman Matjaz Hanzek is to speak to the press at 10 AM about current events.
LJUBLJANA - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to meet the Slovenian Mufti, Nedzad Grabus, at 10:30 AM.
TORONTO - Speaker of Parliament France Cukjati is to wrap up his official trip to Canada by meeting the Mayor of Mississaqua Hazel McCallion; at 2:30 PM.
ALPBACH, Switzerland - The ninth Alpine Conference is to kick off. The two-day event will also be attended by State Secretary at the Environment Ministry Marko Starman.
DUBLIN, Ireland - Bank of Slovenia Governor Mitja Gaspari is to deliver a lecture on the risks associated with Slovenia's eurozone entry at the Dublin Institute for European Affairs.
PORTOROZ - The 7th international telecommunications conference, themed "Business Challenges of Modern Telecommunications", is to come to a close.
